Our Founder

Steve Rogers

Steve Rogers is a long time aviator and aeronautical enthusiast, dedicated to furthering the world of aviation through instruction and bringing more light to the wonders of flight.

Steve has had a long and successful career as an aviator:

  • Began his flying career by teaching and flying general aviation aircraft

  • Worked as an Air Traffic Controller for the United States Air Force, the FAA, and the Department of Defense

  • Has over 25 years of experience flying skydivers at different drop zones around Florida and Georgia

  • Has over 5 years experience teaching glider flying and towing gliders

  • Experience with flying for aerial photography and movie sets

  • Currently a flight instructor for Fly Quincy and the head of Quincy Gliders

  • Received the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award (50 years of dedicated service in aviation safety)
